FLORA (wip)

2026
LEDs, silk organza, cotton, electronics

FLORA (Feminist Ledger of Reproductive Access) is a decorative tablecloth patterned with flowers and plants historically used in reproductive health, both as contraceptives and abortifacients. Along its edges, hundreds of hand-embroidered LEDs form a flexible display that presents continuously updated, current legislative data on reproductive rights, with the scrolling text distorted by the fabric’s draping folds.
